Indigo Bananas Holo Multi Chrome Flakies Pt. 3

I'm back with my final comparison post of the Indigo Bananas Holo Multi Chrome Flakies!

This week I explore the blue to purple shifting flakies, the ones that can look the most similar if you don't look closely enough! For more on the warmer shifting shades, makes sure you check out Pt. 1 of this three part series. For more on the green/blue shifting flakies, make sure you check out Pt. 2!

Formula breakdown is the same on all the Indigo Bananas Holo Mega Chrome Flakies so I'll cover it first. They all apply opaque in three coats, no sponging required. I would wait at least 1 minute between coats (basically while you do your other hand) so that you don't drag the flakies down. I love the formula on these, it is the perfect mix of holo pigment and multi-chrome flakies. The flakies also lay flat on the nail and are not difficult to remove at all.

For the post I've included three different views per polish: one in direct light, one in indirect light and one macro. These are also shown sans top coat, so sorry these aren't super shiny and if a flakie looks a little textured, it's only because I haven't glossed over it with top coat. Typically it wouldn't look that way. Let's get started!

This is Indigo Bananas Sea Quake Holo and is definitely the shifter that is least like the others in this group, mostly because of it's strong teal shift. Probably belonged in the last grouping, but I don't have six fingers on one hand, so to this group it went! ;-) The shift in this one is green to teal to blue to violet to red, but mostly looks teal to purple.

Next up is Indigo Bananas Island Universe Holo. This is a teal to blue to purple/magenta shift, similar to Sea Quake, but with much more purple pulling through. Where Sea Quake looks more teal in it's shift, Island Universe looks more purple.

This is Indigo Bananas Cloudwalker Holo. Cloudwalker and Island Universe are probably the closest two multichrome flakies in this Indigo Bananas set. This shift in this is very similar to Island Universe – teal to blue to purple – but Cloudwalker has added red and gold at the very outer edges. Of the two, Cloudwalker is my favorite because it shifts more equally between all the colors and feels just a tad brighter to me (but that is probably just how I captured it in photos).

This is Indigo Bananas Violet Stars Holo. I just loved this one right off the bat. Ever see a sunset that is super vibrant purples and reds? That is what this shift immediately reminded me of! This one shifts from indigo to violet to red to gold, mostly looking indigo-red. So lovely!

Finally we have Indigo Bananas Deep Blue Day Holo. This flakie's shift was the least obvious, but if you're a blue lover you will love this one. It shifts from an almost navy blue to indigo to purple. This does slightly shift to red, but you have to tilt the nails just so (I say if you're into the red shift, definitely get Violet Stars). It mostly just showcases all those lovely cool colors which blend together in a lovely subtle way.

These polishes can be worn opaque, like I've shown above but also as a topper. Below I show a side by side comparison (in the same order as I reviewed them in, thumb to pinkie) of the polishes as a topper and then side-by-side comparison of them opaque. Sorry I didn't label these as I did in the previous posts, I completely forgot.
