Falling Leaves Nails featuring new Smitten Polish

I've got just a quick nail art post for you today, featuring my favorite polish from the new Smitten Polish Christmas in Stars Hollow Collection.

I'm obsessed with fall and I work in the most picturesque downtown in Northern California. The little main street is lined with these amazing Chinese Pistache trees and the leaves are dancing all over the place today.

Ok on to the nails!

To start off this look I did two thin coats of Smitten Polish Monkey Monkey Underpants and then I broke out another of my favorite Smittens - The First Lobster. I thought the shimmer in Monkey Monkey Underpants would pair so well with the the deep red orange of The First Lobster and I was right.

I stamped the nails using various parts of my MoYou London Mother Nature 07 plate, which is currently out of stock, but it's an amazing plate! I just love that The First Lobster was able to stamp and it actually paired so well with Monkey Monkey Underpants!

Fall Leaves Nail Art

Now an ode to my favorite part of fall, the changing of the leaves.

 

I work in Los Altos, where every fall the streets are lined with the most beautiful trees!



To start I picked my favorite fall leaf colored holos and created a beautiful skittle!!!



From thumb to pinky, I am wearing KBShimmer Whole Lava Lovin', Smitten Polish The First Lobster, KBShimmer Rust No One, Joss Alternate Dimension and KBShimmer Run It's The Coppers.



I once again used my Bundle Monster BM-H11 plate for the leaf image, one of my most favorite fall stamps, an in my opinion, THE best fall plate.



And in the sun it was the most spectacular! I just absolutely LOVED this manicure and I hope you did too!

Smitten Polish The First Lobster

This may be the most beautiful polish I have ever tried on. And it took me awhile to actually use it too, but once I did, man this is seriously the best polish ever!



Meet Smitten Polish's The First Lobster, this gorgeous holo polish is the most vibrant, bright and pigmented holo I have ever tried on. Just check out this polish indoors, below, there is no white cast at all – it is just this vibrant red-orange-coral amazing color.



Seriously, I've been searching for the perfect coral polish my entire life and I think I have finally found it. This is the most beautiful orange leaning red. I was originally thrown because when I saw the bottle it just looked like an orange holo, but I put it on and BAM!



I'm considering wearing this on my vacation coming up, because this is a color I could never bore of. Seriously, the best polish ever!



And boy do I have some good news for you. This polish, which was part of Smitten Polish's, Love Actually Collection and the creator of Smitten Polish has decided to bring this one back in her restock TOMORROW! That's right, in addition to her awesome summer collection, she will be bringing back The First Lobster, so now is your chance to get this awesomeness.

Application: This went on beautifully in two smooth coats, was not too thick or thin and wore beautifully! Seriously, I've been taken with Smitten polishes and I promise you will too!
